Moose Drawing [OLD]
The Moose in the Middle
This moose seems happy to be standing in the middle of this river. Maybe he likes all the green grass to chew on. Or maybe it’s the fact that he’s a macho male who's the center of attention in the middle of the river... who knows? (And if even the artist doesn’t know, that makes it even more of a mystery!)
About This Moose Head
Ironically, I actually remember drawing this one all these years later. I was aiming for it to be one of my first realistic drawings of a moose standing in the middle of a river.
For a toddler at the time, it actually turned out pretty well! It probably has a lot to do with the fact that it's just the head of the moose instead of the entire body. That meant I didn't have to focus on the shape and structure of the whole animal—I could concentrate on developing the moose's very iconic head.
I also sort of like that it's just the head instead of the entire body. It makes the whole drawing feel a little more interesting. OwO
